Student grants
CCS18 organizers offer a small number of supplemental travel grants to eligible and selected student authors who plan to present and publish their work at the conference.
Each grant is intended to partially reimburse travel expenses (airfare and 5 nights at a 3* hotel) and the registration fee.
Accompanying Person
The Accompanying Persons Fee (50 euro) includes:
Participants will be transported by bus to one of the local beaches where they will be able to enjoy the beautiful Greek sun and sea. Included in the excursion is a coffee or a refreshment drink and a snack for lunch. Departure from the beach will start at 5PM.

- Students - When picking up the registration materials, students are expected to produce proof of their student status.
- Academics - refers to Faculty & researchers at tertiary & research institutions and laboratories.
- Non Academics - refers to anyone other than students & academics e.g. government officers and industry related personnel.

- You must be a full-time student author in an undergraduate, or graduate program, who will present your accepted paper or ignite talk or poster at the conference.
- You must submit your abstract by the deadline.
- Postdoctoral students (students who have completed their PhD, ScD, or MD program) are NOT eligible.

- Conference’s Welcoming Reception
- One day excursion to Chalkidiki.
